Ha ha Myky... well I'd say you're in pretty good company here then, most of us would get excited at that visit. My whole neighbourhood knows me as I wander around gazing up into the trees when I hear king Parrots, Pale Headed rosellas, Whipbirds, basically anything except for noisy Miners & Magpies sends me running outside
:')
we do sound very much alike birdie :)
Hubby coped it as he was suppose to be on look out as you can see out the back from the computer but he missed them - how you could miss two hugh white birds is beyond me but luckily i walked down the hall and spotted them - when a new bird is around it's the fastest i move all year :P
He he... nothing peeves me more than when I am standing ever so silently in the corner of my garden listening to and checking out the Catbirds over the fence, and someone comes home calling my name insistently through the house, especially if I have the video tape running at the time!!! You'd think they would get the hint after the first 15 times.... apparently not ! LOL
Then again Myky.... I don't get what is so attractive about rolling a black ball up and down a piece of grass either , but it keeps my husband very occupied for a large slice of the week!
Lovely shots of the underwings. Your posts really made me laugh - in our family we all have very different interests. My husband flies models, and heaps of birds of prey hang out at the airfield
LMAO..... I doubt there would be many in the middle of the bowling green..... just a few turkeys and old crows I'd say :'D
Greg, I'll settle for bowls, golf is too expensive... anyway... "bowling widow"..."golf widow"... it's all much the same as far as I'm concerned.
Birdgirl - do the BOP ever take out any of the model planes? cos that would be funny to see.
Now Hev's got the right idea.... get a man who likes microlighting and go away with him.... fly like a bird and see lots of birds LOL
Lol....good onya....nice shots.
thanks Tassie and yes i know i'm like a kid in a candystore
small things amuse small minds :))
