Richmond Lowlands Birds

Went around the Richmond Lowlands in Western Sydney - nothing new - but a great variety of bird life can be seen from the country lanes that go past cattle, horse, turf farms and a few ponds .

Little Black Cormorants popping up

Awesome stuff. Love them all, but if I had to pick one it would be the Yellow Thornbill, scarce in my area and even when you are lucky enough to see one in the perfect spot, they turn out unfocused

Love the Pelican landing and Butcher bird portrait

What a great day out and magic set of birds WD.

Little Black Cormorants my favourite but difficult to pick a besty.

Looks like a great day out WD. There would have been two new species for me amongst these. The Yellow Spoonbill is proving to be a difficult bird for me to photograph and I'm yet to photograph a Zebra Finch (in the wild).
