A big week of firsts starting on Tuesday with a Black Necked Stork at Lismore Lake.
Spent Thursday afternoon at Rocky Creek Dam which is the water supply for the Lismore & Ballina local region. I have been able to indentify most to the best of my knowledge but would appreciate any assistance with bird # 2 in the sequence.

The Crimson Rosella shot would be my favourite
Dont take life too seriously, it never ends well
Excellent set of shots from your week - that stork is a beauty to get. Fantastic paradise riflebird - was that a new sighting for you as well?
#2 looks like a brown thornbill.
Second the Brown Thornbill. Love the Riflebird.

Great stuff Brian63. Recently took images of a Grey Thrush-shrike, so I know how difficult it is with branches and shadows! Love the riflebird. Well done mate!
Thanks WD, all in fact were new for me.
Thanks also to you & Sue for help with the ID.
Yes great shots Brian, I love the Stork (yet to photograph one) and the Riflebird. Well done!
Yes, great work, especially the Riflebird
