Royal National Park, Bassian Thrush

Hello all!

Having lurked here for a while, I though I might post a few photos. I'll post some more soon. This is a bassian thrush I saw in the Royal National Park along Lady Carrington Drive, and then about 20 minutes later on the Forest Path.

Absolutely! I didn't make a video, but perhaps I'll try next time. I like the way that they bob up and down every so often.

I love the Bassian Thrush.

I 'm very fortunate to have some in my garden. Very sadly though, just a few minutes ago one juvenile flew into my windows. I hope she will recover, right now she sits under a towel. See how she'll go?

( Chris, I hope you will see one, look for them on the ground amongst leaf litter, that's where they spend most of their time looking for insects. They are not that little, mostly Blackbird size or a tiny bit larger.)
