Lucky I decided to take my camera with me this morning for my dog walk near Castlereagh, NW Sydney. I was tossing and turning about not taking it, but thought I really should.
I was so excited seeing four young White-bellied Sea Eagles between about one and two years of age as well as the two resident adults who buzzed me so close and low I could get very good images for the first time since I have known of their existence.
That is "LUCKY", never ever go without your camera. (I lake mine even going down my own driveway. My husband always asks: did you take your Baby? Because I carry it like one,LOL)
Good for us you did, what a beautiful shot of a majestic bird.

thanks for sharing this great pic

saw my first one of these today through the binoculars :) no where near close enough to see it clearly. beautiful photo!
The golden rule, which I frequently ignore, is take your camera.
Glad you took your outfit Akos. I love the sea eagles mainly due to an incident from years ago which left me with my mouth wide open and in awe. Thanks for re-igniting this memory.
Regards
Shane
Thanks Shane. I can also now confirm to have witnessed the pair copulating on Saturday June 30, 2012 at 08:29.
