Second Powerful Owl

Very pleased to have a second powerful Owl sighting, this time at Georges River Reserve near Campbelltown NSW.

At good day for second sightings as also had my second sightings of NSW rock warbler , and rose robin (but did not manage a passable photo of the robin).

Nice, these birds seem to elude me.

Having a pair roosting together at this time of the year is indicative of potential nesting to occur. Please be very careful as any disturbance can put them off from nesting altogether. I.e. no photos, especially using flash. Just observe from a safe distance, which from my experience is at least 50 meters. Some owls can be very skittish, and it will depend on how used to people they are. A bit hard to tell.

Cheers and good luck!
