Silver eye collecting nest material

I happened to spy this little silver eye today having a right old time collecting - this material has been used by several birds and there is not much left now. Ho[pe you like the photos:

laugh That's exactly how my fibre hanging basket went too Diane - although I didn't get any beautiful (evidence) shots like yours.  Just goes to show how resourceful, when it comes to conserving energy, birds can be I guess - if it's suitable, and close & easy to find...wink  Love this whole set of shots!

Thanks for the comments - the magpie took a lot of the fibre - just watching and photograpghing the silvereye you could see his mond ticking over what he was going to do next.
