Sale Common is a floodplain wetland near the junction of the Thomson and LaTrobe Rivers in central Gippsland, Victoria.
This bird was in a stand of redgums and peppermints near the hide on Monday (28 Jan 2013). It was small - smaller than a scrub wren. There was a group in the trees, although I could only get a decent look at this one.
I have searched the birding guides without success. Any suggestions?

Great get, al. Many thanks.
I imagine the others in the tree were the parents, but I didn't get to see them properly.
