Hi MB, did I see you there? did you get to go on Rhan's walks through the Cyathea Falls, a keen birder and very good at bird calls and recognising them. Saw a Rose Robin which we were both pretty excited about. The botanist's walk (4and a half hours!)was also interesting but I'm afraid I have a short attention span for trees and plants ...especially when I get distracted by Lyrebirds calling in the bush!
Use what talents you possess; the woods would be very silent if no birds sang there except those that sang best
oops meant Rohan's walk. Did you go on the spotlight walk at night, we heard Boobook's and Tawny Frogmouths and saw a couple of species of bat and a ring tailed possum. Had a great weekend.

Hi Hev,
Wish I could say "Yes that was me and I know all that stuff you're describing" but I was busy at home today. Hope to get up there next Sunday.
Btw I tried looking up the park to get details of times etc but got nowhere... do you have a website link?
Anyhow, glad to hear you had a great day :-) Musobird
Hi MB, yes try and get along there next weekend, 'tis the last one, if you can only fit one thing in my advice would be a walk with Rohan being a birder.....
We're back there again for christmas... love the area and especially the campsite we stay at, beautiful setting.
BTW is that a kelpie or GSD you have?

Thanks Hev, you're a champ!
Yes that is my lovely GSD, Little Bee.
I have lived in Gippsland for three years and not once visited Tarra Bulga NP, so I'm looking forward to getting up there on Sunday.
Cheers, MB.
