Some birds. :)

It's been a while since I posted, been so busy with work and life in general hitting me about the head with a wiffle bat.

Anyway, just thought I'd share some birds from around the place. smiley

Robins and Gerygone(s) were at Natural Bridge at Springbrook.

Galah and Heron were at Logan.

Little Friarbird was in my street.

The frazzled-looking Osprey was at Osprey House - I think it was hiding from its babies who were squawking like crazy above it. (well, that was how I interpreted it) It was looking up at its nest constantly, and then looked at me with a "You see what I have to deal with?" kind of expression.

Very nice pics. Love the one with the male fairy wren & one of his ladies.

Hey if thats a Red Fantail as your profile pic, I think I saw one today. It flittered away before I could get any shots off. Never seen one before.

Yeah, it's a Rufous Fantail. smiley They're definitely gorgeous little birds, but not quite as friendly as Grey Fantail.

Thanks for your comment! smiley

You can take the girl out of Brisbane but you can't take the Brisbane out of the girl.

Great shots from a great part of the world!
