Some kind of robin and their babies ...somewhere in the world ! video

I know this is not a photo, but there is probably not one of us that wouldn't raise a smile just watching this 4 week cycle in the life of a little robin family. Don't know who took it but it was shared with me and I would like to share with you allsmiley

Very funny, how she dropped the shopping when she noticed the children had all left. As if she was saying: thank God, they left, I'm out of here.

Yes but I felt kind of sorry for her that she came with a big juicy worm and the last one had flown without even a good bye!!!

Yes Adrienne, there is a difference between your children and birds? LOL. Birds leave the nest for good........ my children kept coming back ! (didn't mind one bit though)

Amazing, I so enjoyed this.  Not like other birds that teach their young to fly and hunt first, before they leave home.

Glad you enjoyed it karen. I get so many of this kind of thing on the net and it seems a shame not to share them with all of our birdlovers here smiley I have one on humming birds if you would like me to post it

Oh, please do.  Even though we don't get hummingbirds here, they totally fascinate me, such tiny little creatures.

How awesome is that? I'd love to be able to do a video like that but not sure where I could entice a nest close enough to the house to watch undetected.  Thanks for sharing.

I can advise that the bird is an American Robin

I got pics on a study tour in Oct '11
