That's good information, birdnewbie, & helps with identification. Location is particularly important because not all Australian birds are everywhere in our great nation. Habitat & behaviour are two other important matters to include when seeking an indentification.

Thanks for your help I very much appreciate it. I saw it around Forster. and yes they are webbed feet and it's in sea water
