Found this little fellow in a very small tree in a carpark in Perth in March. The other birds gave it away before he moved out into the light for all to see. It was a great farewell from Australia as I have been on a cruise from Fremantle to Italy via Gallipoli. I have been missing our Aussie birds so am really enjoying the current round of pictures. Sue
Nice capture, Another bird that keeps evading me in Sydney. Many years ago at my parents old house we use to have a Southern Boobook that use to sleep in our backyard tree for many years. Wish digital camera existed then. He became so use to us i could get within metres of it without spooking it from the maple tree. I remember those big eyes use to watch what we were doing as well as what my budgies were doing ;)
