Spotted Pardalote Nest

I was lucky enough to stumble upon a pair of Spotted Pardalote's building their nest in a hollow in the fork of a tree. A very industrious couple - making a lot of trips back and forth bring in strips of bark and grass. Must be a luxurious palace in there from the amount of material they bringing in. They fly very quickly directly in and out of the nest,  while i was watching there were a couple of near misses as one was flying in when the other was flying out.

The male has the bright yellow throat.

The third photograph is the best! Is the same spot you mentioned last week?

Yes it is Reflex. I have been back a couple of times since, and they were always on the go bringing in material for the nest. I could sit on some rocks behind the tree at a higher level and they were not disturbed at all by my presence. Felt very privileged to get to watch them as previously I have only seen pardalotes high in the trees.
