Wow shoop!!! What a perfect little nesting hollow, so lucky you got to see this! I bet you were excited! I have great memories of Kings Park - makes you wonder just how many other people might walk past something like this without even noticing or appreciating. Beautiful sequence of shots. My favourite is the second - inquisitive little face looking down, gorgeous!
We have had these nesting at our home in the city of Ipswich QLD for at least 5 years. The first year in a dirt mound in our front garden. The second 2 years in insulation in the roof of our garage and now we are in the second season in a roll of spare carpet in the same garage on a hanging platform just outside of the kitchen window. They must like the new spot as last year they produced three sets of young and didn't seem to migrate. They often hang on the chain and chatter through the kitchen window. They are currently feeding young, which seems to be early. Mahdel3.

Nice captures. Brilliant way to nest too. How high roughly from the ground is it nesting?
