Just thought I would share a few photographs from my first Pelagic trip. The weather was magnificent, the birds turned up and all up we had over 18 different species incuding an Osprey on the way out of Mooloolaba and a Reef Egret on the way back in.

Particularly like your beautiful photo of the Providence Petrel in flight. Also a lovely one of the Soft Plumed Petrel.

May be up there end of August, how often do the pelagic trips go?
Rick, I went on the Sunshine coast Pelagic trip and it only goes four or five times a year as I understand it.
The Southport (Gold Coast) Pelagic trip is every month but is usually booked out well in advance. I have booked to go on the September trip which was the first available spot. There may still be a seat on that trip if it is of any interest to you.
