I made it on photoshop, I just wrote the words and for the fairy wren I used this photo and cut out the photo using the lasso tool and then coloured it white. Then I just put it all together and made it into a png file so I can put it into any of my photos easily. Not sure if it's the best way to make one but it's good enough for me. Not sure if that made sense I'm not very good at explaining things lol!
Wow! You make it sound easy. I'm going to have to take an interest in Photoshop but it's like mowing the lawn in summer. You know it will look good when it's done but ......anyway. I'm off to google, "what is a png file".
Good on you Tim, I like your watermark. Oh and the photo is very cute. You have done a lovely job with the background blur.
If I may be as bold to offer a tip. Since you look like you are mastering the art of photoshop, if you had the opportunity to give a closer crop of the bird on the post, I think that would look even nicer and help us connect with the bird through the photo, if that makes sense.
The good thing in photoshop is you can change the opacity of the watermark as well so it doesn't take the focus away from your photo, but is still noticable.
Lovely! How did you make the watermark??

Good on you Tim. Watermark looks great! Did you use Lightroom or Photoshop?

Nice bird and watermark Tim. Well done.
Thanks Tim, I will give it a go when I get the chance. I've always wanted to make my own watermark like that
