not an unusual bird, but after living in Banyo, Qld for 5 years, this is the first time I have seen a resident pair. The Noisy Miners make life very hard for other birds. We also have Magpie Larks which I have never seen here before, usually only the larger common Magpie. We have bushland 1 block away, that connects onto Boondall Wetlands.
