Was lucky enough to find this little one at the Hastings Caves Thermal Pool, South of Hobart. Think it was checking me out? ID confirmed by long tail, rufous/cinnamon forehead and leading edges to wings (also by a Parks and Wildlife Service Ranger). Brown Thornbills are uncommon in the area, and right on the edge of their range. Not cropped or processed, was within a few metres of me. Hope you enjoy.

Nice photos Dale and great detail without processing. That’s a beautiful little bird.
Thanks all, a pleasure to be able to get so close.
