Well, (I think today is 25/07/2012 ?).
When I drove up the drive to go out, she was sitting on a fence, just staring at the ground. Not many birds stare like a Kookaburra. As I never go anywhere without my camera, I wound down the window and took some photos. Unfortunately she was far too close to my big lens, that's why most of the photos only had parts of the bird in it, or the beak and the worm was too close.
I will share what there is:

Nice close ups of the action, M-L. I love these gawky, awkward birds. Saw two fighting over a grasshopper on a branch once, until they fell off too the ground, still both holding one end each of the grasshopper.
