Greetings all,
Took this picture some time ago and have been meaning to identify the green backed bird ever since. It's the only photo I have of this species which I usually see high in the tree tops.
Photograph taken at the Peter Francis Arboretum, in Coleraine Vic. Bird is a permanent resident, we see it all year around. As are the Red browed finch and the New holland honeyeater.
The red-orange eye ring indicates White-naped Honeyeater, as apposed to White-throated HE which has a white eye ring and don't occur there anyway.

Thank you so much, that was my cautious identification of it as well.
I should have looked at the distribution for the white throated more closely.
Cheers
