Does anyone know if treecreepers can cope with the horizontal plane? I have read that swifts don't cope well and can't launch themselves into the air from the ground. Is that true? The treecreepers are attracted to my bird bath but spend their time wriggling around in the wet ferns that are suspended beneath the bird bath.
