I took pictures of this bird high up on a tree at Brisbane, QLD this morning. It looks like either a White-winged Triller or a varied Triller. I could not get more details on its head or wings to identify it clearly.

I would say male Varied Triller (Lalage leucomela)

yes, male Varied Triller - the indicators are the head & beak shape (just discernable), buff vent and white underside on tail feathers - all visible in my atatched pic
