We have this friendly bird making a meal out of our strawberries. We could get a meter away from him for the photo. Could anyone ID his species please.

Hi Rob, looks like a female or juvenile Eastern Koel, also known by some as a Pacific Koel (a member of the cuckoo family of birds). Nice photo.
