The robin sized one taken at Waitara Creek at Normanhurst North of Sydney. The striated thornbill ? (the green tinges stump me) at Berowra also North of Sydney.

Young golden whistler & striated thornbill respectively. The striated thornbill's back can be rather olive in colour.
Thanks Woko. That Golden whistler was just hanging around watching a group of thornbills whizzing around making a noise and keeping an eye on me but not as wary as most. That must be her age showing (or lack of it).
