Don't know what bird it is. Looks kinda similar to a figbird but I'm not sure.

Looks like a Spotted Dove (feral species). About the size of a pigeon?

Yes, a Spotted Turtle Dove which is advantaged by planting non-native vegetation which disadvantages the beautiful native pigeons & doves. Revalopod, please advise if you wish to encourage the native species.
