Damn , I hunted high and low for them on my last trip north (2011) to no avail .Worst thing was a freind of mine was there a week before me and spotted some just by the old railway station . Thinking of coming up early in the season this year , around April . I usually go up later in the year Sept - Nov , I love the build up to the wet. Freind has seen Gouldians around Pine Creek as well. Might spend a night or two there this year.
How lovely, as my mother always said, wear the matching shoes
. Look at his feet, he wears matching socks![yes yes](https://www.birdsinbackyards.net/sites/all/libraries/ckeditor/plugins/smiley/images/thumbs_up.gif)

Those 460 km were totally worth it. Beautiful bird :)

Thanks L and M-L
and here is female
Well worth the drive. Lovely parrots and nicely captured. One of the best birding places that I have visited.

Excellent photos of a bird I have never heard of. I might also consider making the trip!
Though the BiBY site doesn't seem to list them, there is some information here:

Hot stuff, BajanAlan. In more ways than one, I bet. Well worth it from where I'm sitting.
