WA bird IDs

Just back from a WA trip and have a few birds I would to ID thanks.

My guesses

First two not good shots but Dusky or Black-faced woodswallow

Third juvenile Red-capped Parrot

Fourth & fifth Western Thornbill

Fifth female Black Honeyeater

All taken in Dryandra Woodlands, SE of Perth, WA

I'd say the fifth is a juvenile Western Spinebill.

Fourth looks like a Western Thornbill. The parrot looks like what you said. The second looks like a Masked Woodswallow. Looking at my guide book that is the only one, which appears to have a white edge to all of its tail.

The first is a NFI bird to me

#1 - I will leave

#2 - juvenile (juvenile body colouring is evident) Dusky Woodswallow (best guess) - what other woodswallows did you see at that time/day; pic of juvenile Dusy Ws (also from Dryandra) attached though it looks more mature than your bird

#3 - agreed juvenile Red-capped Parrot

#4 + 5 - agreed Western Thornbill

#6 - not a Black He as Black HE has more heavily patterned wings; I was going to question Western Spinebill as no apparent rufous nape (pic attached) but your bird is younger and I think that I can see the beginnings of the rufous nape

Thanks Canonguy,Peter.

First bird was same as second so, there were some Duskys around.

I thought the last bird seemed a little big for a Spinebill as I had seen some adults which

surprised me by their small size but all else points to juvenile Spinebill.

Thanks
