We have quite a few wattlebirds in our vicinity and they build nests here in our trees every year, however, this year there is a wattlebird flying around with a massive orange forehead and wondered is this normal for some species. I did question if it might be a pollen but it has stayed there continuously all week. Hope someone can set it straight for me please....Misty
Hi Misty, have a look at the post below, you will find a similar question. Did your bird look like that, but only orange? I'm certain it is some pollen stuck on his head. If it's been there for a week, tells me, the bird has feasted on the same orange flowers for that time.
