At first I thought this must be a yellow thornbill but when I checked I noticed that the races flavescens & occidentalis are both much brighter yellow than the race brevirostris which we get here. Good one, pacman, & thanks for adding to my learning (if I remember!).

Wow, if I saw that I would assume it was a thornbill. What is the difference?

Yes the weebill is the smallest Australian bird ,nice shots ,the ones around here tend to have a lot less yellow and never seem to stop moving.
I took 140 pics and have retained 45 after my first review/cut and expect to delete a few more during the 2nd review cut

Did you get dizzy trying to shoot these Peter, I dont thnk I have ever seen one actually come to a standstill. Great effort.
