Hi, I just spotted this bird in our garden and have never seen it here before. I think it may be some type of Kingfisher, but am unsure. I am located in Dubbo. NSW. Can anyone help me out?

No expert, but will suggest Sacred Kingfisher, happy to be wrong. Always handy to give a location, so as to rule out (or in) species. You must have edited to add your location while i was typing Thank you.

Buff coloured belly and buff lores (in front of the eyes) are the key indicators for me.
