Which Grebe

I saw these grebes in Homebush Bay sydney which is quite a large expanse of water - wondering what sort of grebe they might be.

Wonderful photo Araminta, that grebe has got its fancy hat on. I have not seen a crested grebe so far - maybe one day.

I think they can fold it back Tim, and I have seen all kinds of different positions (?) they can carry the hatdepending on their mood
