This was photographed a couple of weeks ago at Voyager Point, Sydney. Have no idea what it could be. It seems to be reddish underneath with a prominent forked tail.

How big do you think it was?
Ide say about rainbow lorikeet size maybe a bit smaller
Yeah righto. It has a Swift look about it but the the beak looks wrong and is too small for your size reference. The only other thing that comes to mind is an Oriental Pratnicole. Not sure if you get them there.
Do you have any other photos?
Was it calling at all, what sounds did it make.
Is the habitat an open area?

Yeah no other photos Im afraid. Just flew past over some bushland. I dont think we get pratnicoles here
Tail suggests Fork-tailed Swift however colour looks wrong
