At first I thought it was an Australian raven but it did not have any hackles. Apologies for the photo by I have heavily cropped it. Was taken at Mount Annan Botanical gardens on saturday. I was wondering if it was a white-winged Cough.
thank you
Donna
Doona, it does look good for a White-winged Chough.
The ID points I look for are orange eye, finer downcurved bill, longer broader tail and of course white wing patches when the wings are spread.
Pic attached from Tidbinbilla, ACT in Apr '13 for comparison.

I agree that it is a Chuff, but I think it is an immature one- they have dark eyes rather than the diagnostic orange/red eyes of an adult chuff.
Currawongs= Yellow eyes
Native Crows/Ravens= White eyes
Chuffs= Red eyes
Thank you both Pacman & Lachlan.
regards
Donna
