We had a beautiful day at thw Western Treatment Plant. It was great fun wayching this:
'he was just having a rest, when Willie turned up approaching, attack!! attack Willie Wagtail is leaving,
I tried to correct the spelling mistakes, but it didn't work, no idea why? Not that I didn't see them!
M-L
ounce for ounce you have like the Willie Wagtail
Peter
Great action M-L. I haven't been down there in a while.
Cheers, Owen.
Hi Peter, I'm so sorry, but I've been thinking about what you said, I don't get it. Can you please explain what you mean? What am I missing here?
sorry for my typo and lack of clarity
I should have typed 'ounce for ounce you have to like the Willie Wagtail'
the area is probably his home territory and the B-S K has dropped in
given the difference in weight and fighting equipment, eg talons, a sensible little bird would hide in the foliage but not a WW
by the way I should have said your usual high standard of pic
You've done it again M-L. This shows why sometimes just showing one photo doesn't portray the scene entirely. Great shots.
Regards
Shane
What a stunning series M-L.
I love the cockiness of the Willie Wagtail - they are such a brazen little bird. They take no prisoners!
