Last week found these guys while mowing, thought there were 9 chicks, they disappeared until this morning, and they have 11 - what a hand(wing)ful. The reeds in the background of number 4 appears to be their nest site.

I love little ducks, and the parents are so clever and protective. I counted 11 (?), I wonder how many will make it? Keep track of them, and take more photos as they grow. In photo No4, just like children would, 3 are swimming the other way
