The strangest thing just happened. I just wanted to take my boots off to go inside. As I was putting my foot in the boot jack, a tiny Brown Thornbill landed on it. I happened to have the camera under my arm. I stopped breathing and moving, slowly lifted the camera and tried to take some photos. Not that easy, I was too close and didn’t want to move either. I did however manage to take about 20 photos, just as many as I could hold my breath for. In one photo you can see my foot on the right side of the photo. Then I made a very slight movement…..and off it flew.
Just magical! What a beautiful wee birdie.
Nawww!! How wonderful!
Such a cutie!
hi
wonderful photos as usual ML - isn't it a bummer when they are too close, I find that is the biggest problem with a prime lens
Cheers Diane
Great shots, M-L. I find the S F Wrens get to close to me sometimes (so close i can't get focus)
