Female White-throated Treecreeper, looking for spiders infront of my house. Amazing how they can cling to those hard posts.

That's my excuse for not cleaning, "I don't want to take food from the birds." The other good excuse is, "I can't clean the windows, the birds will fly into them"
Any other good excuses for me? Do tell!

You've hit the nail on the head. Too many times I've seen birds fly into windows thinking the reflection is the sky. Broken necks, dead birds. I have one window here that is a problem that needs to be dealt with.
