dirty windows

 More reasons not to be cleanwink. Most of the time I hear that "pick pick " noise on my windows, I find my wrens doing it. So I was surprised to see a Silvereye feasting on tiny insects caught in spiderwebs.

dirty windows or not, just before a juvenile Bassian Thrush, chased by a Wattlebird, flew into it. Sadly it died. I can't explain it, but at least one of their young flies into the window every year.There are others around my garden though.

that happens to me quite a bit too,we have a huge opaque window with patterns - it's barely clear,it only lets in light(you literally can not see anything outside at all - but still we have plenty of birds fly into it
