.....in my garden. I just went for a walk in my garden, I counted at least 20 Wrens, the boy's tails are much more blue than last week. The Lewin's Honeyeater that lives in the top of the pine tree, has been calling for a week now, and just before his calls were answered, there is a second one. In one of the shrubs I noticed the largest flock of Red-browed Firetails. My favourite shrub the Dusty Miller has millions of flowers...... it's all looking very good.
the last one shows just a few together ,the shrub was full of birds though
It makes my heart sing when I read posts like this one M-L Makes me realise that our urban birds are not a lost cause.
Thanks for sharing the lovely photos.
Hi Armaminta. Sounds like you made a nice safe garden to have that many birds there. In the first photo is the red- brow having a yawn?

Thanks Nightowl, I wouldn't call it a "garden", I just don't know what else to call it? We planted some of it, but most has come from the Bush behind us. We never have to do any gardening in it, only the open part where the horse is, but not even that, because it gets eaten and kept short. (only the horse's poo gets picked up every day.LOL) You are right, we make it as safe as we can for all the wildlife that visits. The dogs are kept inside at night, and don't roam unsupervised. We get Wallabies, Koalas, Goannas, Echidnas and lots more... If only my dream would come true, and the neighbours would keep their cats inside, but that might never happen. (Too many cats and not enough brain)
