Hi everyone nailed it,
Thought I would share some of my holiday photos with you. Firstly I had great difficulty finding this bird in my book. He is a Pacific Bazza and I saw two of them the second day at Airly Beach, so engrossed photographing them did not realise that I was being eaten by sandflies. Am still suffering from the itch.
Secondly I was fascinated by the swallows, even though we have them in Canberra I can never seem to get a good shpt of them in flight. So spent many hours trying to perfect this. Think I finally nailed them. Fast little blighters.

Just beautiful! Not so beautiful about the sandflies - (calomine or tea tree might help?) - ah the things we suffer for our love of birds

Argh Sandflies. I alway get bitten. The thing is they are so small you never see them. My bites last for weeks and really turn nasty. I've tried calamine and tea tree and aloe and desperately tried all kinds of things even coconut oil, papaya. The only relief I have had is from anesthetic treatments like Stingoze. Hope they get better.
