hello ,i took this pic last thursday in Portland Vic on one of the hot days ,they were going nuts in the trees .maybe the heat was up setting them to ,bruce.

Birds suffer when it's hot, like dogs you can see them panting. Parrots look very strange when they pant, they open their beak and you can see their tongue , they also drop their wings, that sometimes looks as if the wing is broken. I refill the waterbowl often, to make sure the water doesn't get hot, I also noticed the birds love it when I hose down a few shrubs in the shade. They can sit in a much cooler spot.
