identifiying a call

I am used to hearing the grey butcher bird calling, a harsh raucus call, and a beautiful clear piping call with a number of notes, but i am wondering if the call that i hear that is all the one note is also this bird.  It seems to have the same tone, but I am never sure.  Does any one have any ideas?

Mybe you also have the pied butcherbird nearby "a beautiful clear piping call with a number of notes" describes them quite well.

Thanks but i don't actually think that it is the pied butcher bird, it is more of a carrolling call as well, and i always forget to mention where I am which is Sydney.  Correct me if i am wrong, but I believe the pied bb is not normally as far south.
