On a walk through the greenway corridor the council and bush regenerater groups have created I saw Silvereyes, White browed Scrub Wrens, Superb Fairy Wrens, and White faced Herons. Which is pretty good I think for inner suburban Sydney, at least compared to my backyard.
That seems astounding to me, oconnore, given that the first three of those species would be a long way from the heart of Adelaide. And who knows what other species might be using the greenway corridor. Well done to those with the best interests of the environment at heart.
Yes, there are people who work hard, and lately someone saw a Kingfisher too.

The good burghers of Adelaide are known for apeing doings in other cities so, who knows, we may see something similar in SA's capital. Fingers crossed.
