today i went out to get some fresh air and saw a kookaburra sitting on our fence, i went inside to get my camera, and remembering what i have learnt about standing still and letting them get used to me, i stood there and the kookaburra never moved, if he looked my direction i turned my head and looked down, i think i was there for about 15 mins.
i moved a little bit at a time to see if i could get closer these are the pictures i took.

O , how good is that? The photos are just beautiful. You will notice, the more you practice this technic, after a while it will become part of the way you take photos.

yes i have been practicing it lately when i have been going walking at one of my favourite spots at the lagoons in maryborough , getting closer and taken better pics is something i am working on. and another technique ive been practicing is focusing on the eyes if i can.
