the two of them are such a sweet couple. She is working her little feet off , so to speak, she has to do all the work herself. He one legged husband can't help her, he sits very close and watches every move of her. Mind you he sings to her. The little ones are very vocal, so it shouldn't be long before they will come out of the nest? They will be easy to find, I just follow the parents. They know me so well by now they don't mind me taking photos.
For those who are interested, here are some I took this afternoon.
He sits , as best as he can,on the fence close to the nest

Your consistently non-threatening presence seems to be a critical part of your photography, Araminta. It's certainly and advantage having all that wonderful habitat with all those wonderful birds right at your doorstep! I was watching Coast on SBS tonight where seals were loafing on a beach next to an RAF firing range. Aeroplanes & bombs? Not a problem. Humans? Straight into the safety of the water.
Thanks Woko. One more for you This little bird will sleep well tonight, after a long day of hard work

I have just come home, there has been some heavy rain all day. I have seen him, but no sign of her or the young. Hope they are fine?
