My friend the Robin now also brings her friend along. I go outside and both of them come and sit right infront of me, or follow me down the drive. They brighten up my day, thanks

Beautiful little friends to have .... all lovely detailed shots; especially like the last shot of them together on the wires.
I too would really enjoy having such beautiful wee friends. :)
With friends like these who needs humans?

Nice photos reflex - little wattle bird and what is the first one ??
Hope to see more great photos from you !
(btw ...its best to create your own new topic when you post photos, rather than tacking them onto an existing topic.)
Thanks Whistlingduck. The first photo is of a juvenille Magpie that has been pinching biscuits from my dogs food bowl and has become used to me taking photos. I suppose it considers it a trade off, a few photos for a dogs biscuit. Usually when I have a camera in my hands birds react as though I've just pointed a loaded shotgun at them and dissapear in all directions.
PS. Thanks for the advice.

Hi Reflex,
Haha, at my place it’s the Goanna that comes to eat the dog biscuits and the Echidna drinks out of the dog’s water bowl. When it’s very hot and dry Snakes hang around the water bowl as well.

Great shots, excellent use of shallow depth of field, what equipment are you using here?
