Different seasons , different birds.
Some weeks ago, there were Eastern Spinebills with their young everywhere, then the New holland Honeyeaters and their young. There are stilll many Yellow Robins feeding Babies, and the Fairy Wrens are still flirting. But right now it seems to me, Grey Fantails are everywhere, just this morning I counted 5 in one spot, hard to tell if they are young ones or not? They get on well with the Wrens, but are chasing the Y Robins, the Y Robins don't like the Scarlets anywhere near them. Unfortunately the Golden Whistlers decided after a while, to go somewhere else. Smart move, after the Fan-tailed Cuckoo was hanging around their nest.
Although sometimes I feel, there isn't much happening at the moment, when I look closely, there is.Here are some photos I took yesterday, enjoy.
Beautiful, Mary-Louise!
I love the Grey Fantails, they are such inquisitive little birds, always coming in closer to see what you're up to.

Sorry Beef. What kind of machine is that on your avatar? It looks like some device that could send me to another planet? Or does it make beef patties?

M-L, I love your pics. You don't just capture detail, you get the expressions as well. And these are perfect examples.

You must be thrilled with the quality of the photos you're getting with your camera
Yes Kim, I'm happy with my camera and my very soft sneakers, they let me sneak up softly and quietly. (as quietly as an old chook like me can)
