Hi, my husband found this ?? nest on our bush block in Toodyay Western Australia. He said it was well manufactured using feathers , leaves etc. Approx 18inches long and sort of cylindrical. Any ideas what wouldhave constucted this please

I Can't be sure but I suspect this is some sort of insect-made structure, rather than a birds nest. Maybe caterpillars or ants...
