got lucky. Black Cockatoos seem to have accepted me, they were so skittish a few years back.
they return every year to feed on banksia and wattle.
Yellow-tailed Black Cockatoos feeding on Wattles, eh? At my place I've seen them on Allocasuarinas, Callitris, Hakeas & Banksias. I have plenty of Wattles so I'll be paying more attention to those.
they feed on Acacia leiocalyx (black wattle,.)
they seem to crack open branches looking for grubs
not much feeding on the seed
